Terms of Service

1. Overview

Mencio provides AI search visibility tracking, Agentic Readiness audits, and related monitoring tools, available both as a self-serve platform and as a done-for-you service (Mencio Sprints). These Terms describe how you can use the platform and services and what responsibilities apply to both sides.

2. Service Description

Mencio provides AI search visibility tracking and Agentic Readiness verification for websites, including:

• Tracking of user-defined prompts across supported AI search engines
• Share of voice and competitor comparison
• Agentic Readiness scoring based on what a domain can verifiably prove
• Prioritized recommendations, including readiness fixes and visibility plays
• Monitoring and drift detection where applicable
• Timestamped evidence of scan and tracking results

Self-serve platform outputs are informational only. You remain responsible for deciding what changes to make and how to implement them.

Mencio Sprints is a done-for-you service in which Mencio personnel configure tracking, review results, and implement or specify fixes on your behalf, using the Mencio platform. Sprints engagements are scoped individually, deliverables, timeline, and any implementation access are agreed with you before work begins. Sections 3 and 6 apply equally to Sprints engagements.

3. No Guarantee Clause

Mencio does not guarantee rankings, placement, or inclusion in AI-generated answers. AI systems are third-party platforms outside of Mencio's control and may change behavior at any time.

4. User Responsibilities

• You must have permission to scan any domain you submit.
• You are responsible for implementing any suggested changes.
• You may not use the service for abuse, unauthorized scanning, or unlawful activity.

5. Payments

Payments are processed through Stripe. If you purchase a Lifetime Deal, it applies only to the features included at the time of purchase. Taxes may apply based on your location. See Section 6 for refund terms.

6. Refunds

Self-serve subscription plans include a 14-day money-back guarantee: if your first scan does not identify verifiable infrastructure or visibility gaps, contact partners@getmencio.com within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Lifetime Deal purchases are refundable under the same 14-day window; after that window, Lifetime Deal purchases are non-refundable. Mencio Sprints engagements are billed and refunded according to the terms agreed in your individual Sprints agreement.

7. Limitation of Liability

Mencio is not liable for lost revenue, lost business opportunities, or losses caused by third-party AI platform changes. You use the service at your own risk.

8. Intellectual Property

The Mencio platform and Agentic Readiness framework are proprietary. You may not reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the service except as allowed by law.

Deliverables created specifically for you during a Mencio Sprints engagement, such as code, content, or configuration, become your property upon full payment. This does not include Mencio's underlying platform, methodology, or the Agentic Readiness Score framework, which remain Mencio's property.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Delaware.
